SAIF, IIT Patna is equipped with seven major instruments to perform molecular & crystal structure determination, separation, general detection & identification of chemicals of particular masses and detailed structural information in various molecular systems. Particle Size and Zeta potential Analyzer is used to measure particle size using dynamic light scattering and Zeta Potential by using electrophoretic light scattering. Physisorption/Chemisorption Analyzer is used to analyse the surface area of the sample. DSC and TGA are used for the thermal analysis of the sample.
